European Health and Safety Consultants Limited (EHSC Ltd) provide an extensive range of health and safety services, to a vast array of companies – large and small, local, national and international. As a Company, we have over 30 years’ experience, developing and providing health and safety services around the world.
The Company was founded by Mr Paul Winter MBE (former Managing Director) and Margaret West (Founding Director) in September 1991. Prior to forming the Limited Company, Paul ran a sole trader company from 1987 until the formation of the new company with Margaret West. Paul was awarded his MBE for services to occupational health and safety in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List in December 1993. Very sadly, Paul died in January 2020, leaving an amazing legacy. Beckie Staincliffe (Managing Director) is the second generation of the family in the business. Beckie and Margaret are very passionate about health and safety and are committed to how they and the team are best able to assist businesses in meeting health and safety challenges that they face.
As a family-run business, we ensure that we take care of our Clients’ personal needs. We have worked hard to build up a reputation for efficiency, reliability and a very personal service. Our on-going objective is to maintain and improve this reputation, in order to be recognised as providing health and safety products and services of the highest standard. The Company is capable of providing a ‘complete’ health & safety service to our many, very diverse, Clients. This service includes the design and delivery of specific services, including training programmes, which can be adapted to suit a Client’s individual requirements. This direct management allows the Company to offer flexibility to Clients and ensures control of quality throughout each project.
The Company is a member of the British Safety Council, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents and both the Milton Keynes and Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce. All Consultants are members of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health and other, relevant, professional, Health & Safety institutions.
All Consultants have between 15 and 30 years’ experience in health & safety. Additionally, we have available to us external specialist Consultants (ie occupational hygienists, plant/equipment trainers) who have provided, high-quality, services to us for many years.
We have a number of business partners who we work closely with, to enable our Clients to be provided a complete service.
We pride ourselves on providing a professional, incisive and highly accurate service; with a bespoke approach to every project, as we appreciate that each Client’s needs will be different and specific to their business. We endeavour to exceed Client expectations and ensure that every job runs to schedule and within budget.
We have a passionate and committed team of professionals, whose aim is to provide professional advice, support and possible solutions to all aspects of health and safety. We appreciate that there are a huge range of health and safety challenges facing our Clients every day and EHSC offers simple, realistic and cost-effective health and safety solutions to these. Many organisations have long, complicated and often out of date health and safety policies and procedures. We have a dedicated team, who work specifically within a variety of sectors, offering practical, simple, solutions to real issues – in plain English.
