Paul Winter MBE – Managing Director
Paul is the Managing Director of European Health & Safety Consultancy (EHSC) Ltd and a Senior H&S Consultant. He has over 30 years experience in health and safety – initially working for an international vehicle manufacturer and then branching out on his own in 1987 and forming the Limited Company in 1991.
Paul is an extremely dedicated and knowledgeable health and safety professional, who has a superb sense of humour, which is portrayed within much of the work he undertakes. Health and Safety is a very dry subject, which is often not very well received. Paul loves his subject and has a very unique style of delivery and his training courses are always memorable, often supported by Paul’s anecdotes of his experience. We have tried to encourage him to write a book he has that many! Paul also does not just highlight health and safety concerns; he always gives very practicable and sensible ideas or solutions. We are extremely proud to boast that Paul was awarded his MBE for services to occupational health and safety in the Queen’s New Years Honours List in December 1993.
Paul is also a real ‘petrol-head’, spending much of his spare time at car shows and anything else involving cars or petrol! So, if you don’t want to talk to him about health and safety he will always be willing to talk about cars.
