Following a fatal accident, EHSC Ltd was contacted last year to undertake a Health and Safety “Health Check Report”. This Project involved undertaking a Gap Assessment. The Gap Assessment has enabled the Company to develop a robust Action Plan for the coming year to help further develop their H&S Systems.
This Organisation has a strong desire to make health and safety their number one priority with not only their tenants but their staff too. We are currently acting as their Competent Person.
Below are a few of the Projects that we have started to assist with –
- Provided training to all levels of Managers within the Business on the new procurement system, including the vetting and management of Contractors
- Been part of the selection process and interview panel for newly appointed HS&E personnel
- Provided support and advice on new systems and procedures prior to their introduction and roll out across the Group.
We have extensive experience in working with large housing associations, so we have been able to provide Amicus with invaluable advice and best practice specifically within their industry.
We have also been able to provide the organisation with support and advice through the final stages of the investigation by the HSE relating to the fatality. We were able to provide the relevant persons who were to be interviewed with guidance and advice of what to expect when “an Inspector Calls”
