An ex-Client contacted us stating that they were not able to obtain Employers Liability Insurance due to their poor standards of H&S and could we help.
We rose to the challenge and very quickly their insurance cover was reinstated (but with conditions). We have continued to work with the organisation for the last 2 years to continually develop their H&S culture. They have come on in leaps and bounds with their health and safety – they have substantially reduced the number of accidents; reduced the number of claims served against the Company; and, with our assistance, developed manageable H&S Policies and Procedures. All staff have received relevant training and an Action Plan has been put into place, which is continually developed and updated. The commitment and priority from the Directors relating to Health and Safety has been dramatic. We provided them with support and assistance and have acted on their behalf with issues arising from their insurance company but they have become proactive rather than reactive.
