Do I need to provide free PPE to staff and Contractors?
Yes for staff if legislative requirement or identified in a Risk Assessment. Contractors – no unless you have specific specialist hazards/requirements on site.
Can the HSE charge us when they visit?
Under Fee for Intervention (FFI) cost recovery scheme the HSE can charge you for their time (at £157.00 per hour +VAT) if they identify any material/significant breach of health & safety compliance on site.
Do we have to provide free eye tests & glasses to computer users?
If the computer user uses the equipment on a regular basis daily then yes you do have to provide free eye tests if they request one and provide glasses if they need specific glasses when working on a PC (eg they wear bi-focal glasses normally and need single vision lenses when using a computer).
How do you charge for your services?
The fee for every project is negotiated with the Client and varies depending on the nature and duration of the project. Fees are normally based on a day rate plus expenses and VAT and are subject to our standard Terms and Conditions.
What geographic areas do you cover?
Our office base is in Milton Keynes but we travel anywhere! We work with Clients across the globe.
