The HSE have recently published a micro-site giving guidance for employers on health surveillance.
If your employees are exposed to noise or vibration, solvents, fumes, dusts, biological agents and other substances hazardous to health, or work in compressed air, health surveillance may be required by law. (Health surveillance enables identification of ill health and helps identify any corrective action needed.)
The HSE have just published new guidance for employers on health surveillance, which in intended to give Employers confidence that they are doing what is needed to protect their workers’ health.
